Our hydraulic forging press was developed for everyday work in the blacksmith's shop. Designed for forging Damascus steel, blades, upsetting, drawing out, and shaping hot steel, it combines 27 tons of precisely controlled force with an exceptionally rigid frame and smooth, accurate guidance.

Built for Heavy-Duty Performance

The press has been engineered with maximum rigidity and long-term durability in mind.

The frame is manufactured from C45 steel plates, significantly reducing deflection even under full working load.

The precision guiding system consists of:

• 4 × Ø50 mm chrome-plated guide shafts made from 20MnV6 steel
• 8 bronze sliding bushings, ensuring smooth movement, excellent rigidity, and virtually eliminating play.

This design guarantees exceptional stability and precise operation during forging.

Interchangeable Forging Dies

The press features quickly replaceable forging dies, allowing the operator to easily adapt the machine to different forging operations.

The dies are manufactured from WCL (1.2343) hot-work tool steel, offering:

• Outstanding resistance to high temperatures
• Excellent mechanical strength
• Superior wear resistance
• Long service life under continuous hot forging conditions

This makes the press ideal for forging Damascus steel, knives, tools, and other hot-work steel components.

Comfort & Safety

The machine is operated using a mechanical foot pedal, allowing smooth and intuitive control while keeping both hands free to position and manipulate the workpiece safely.

The pedal automatically returns to the neutral position when released, providing precise control over the ram movement.

The press is also equipped with an Emergency Stop (E-STOP) button and is supplied with a CE Declaration of Conformity.

Electrical Requirements

The hydraulic press is equipped with a 5.5 kW three-phase electric motor (400 V), which requires an adequately designed electrical installation.

To ensure proper operation and full machine performance, the electrical installation should provide:

• 400 V three-phase power supply
• Properly sized supply cable and electrical protection
• Stable mains voltage without excessive voltage drops
• A dedicated electrical circuit for the machine is recommended

Insufficient cable cross-section, excessive cable length, or inadequate electrical installation may result in reduced motor performance, inability to achieve full pressing force, overheating, or activation of protective devices.

Before commissioning the machine, we recommend verifying that the electrical installation complies with local electrical regulations and is suitable for supplying a 5.5 kW industrial motor.

Important: The performance of the hydraulic press depends not only on the machine itself but also on the quality of the electrical installation. To achieve the full 27-ton pressing force, the machine must be connected to a properly sized three-phase electrical supply.
